Congratulations I Do

Hey there!! It's been a long week but I can't complain, I have a day off and it's my fave day of the week,, Bellarific Friday. This week, we had a fab sketch to work with although I did add a few elements because it was looking kinda bare to me. For my card, I decided to use the image called I Do hanging block that is currently on sale, definitely perfect for wedding cards. I colored the image with Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol. The sentiment is from the Uptown Couple Brenda and Brett get married

Next week's challenge is an inspiration pic.

Don't forget you have until next Thursday to email Emily your fabulous creation at emily@stampingbella.com to be included in the Friday post.  We've switched to a new format and one lucky participant from this month's challenges will win a $50 voucher.  Perfect timing with the new release coming up!!!

A little bling

Hey there!! It's been another quiet week on my blog... Tons of stuff going on that are occupying my time. I miss my craft desk!!! But I'm getting healthy and that's more important. I'm doing a run/walk clinic where by the end of it I will be doing intervals of 10 minutes running and 1 minute walking 3 times. I'm also eating healthy and I don't miss the crap.  I even walked past my favorite Cheezies at the grocery store tonight!!!

I love this week's Sweet Sunday sketch challenge so I knew I needed to play along and of course, I flipped it to fit the image I wanted to use. I have had this cutie pie called 'Groovy Bride-abella" for awhile so I inked her up. I have colored her with Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol and added some Diamond Stickles to her her ring.

Hope you like it!! See you Friday.

Coffee and Friends

It's a late morning start for me... Oops!!! But it's my fave day of the week - Bellarific Friday!! This week. our challenge was all about Friends.  I just recently got the super fun Uptown Girls Clarissa and Camille with a Cafe and knew that it was the perfect image for this challenge. The image was stamped with Archival Black ink and then colored with Prismacolor pencils.

Next week's challenge is a fabulous sketch!! Check it out.

Dance in the rain

Hey there. I had a bit of free time this morning so I decided to make a clean and simple card based loosely on this week's Fall to Layout. I have incorporated three different Stamping Bella sets (even though it's hard to see one of them because of the very light coloured ink).  I love the sentiment from the Uptown Girl set called "Lolly and her Brolly" so I decided to use it as my starting off point. I put it lower on the card because I thought it would look like it was floating too much if I put it higher up. I then used one of the stamps from the set called eclectic Mini BubbleWrap, Mesh and French Script in Pink Pirhouette. This is done in the bottom left and top right corner but it's so light it isn't really visible. Note to self: don't use such a light colour.... I've also added the Curly Flourish in Archival Black Ink.

Hope you like it!! Don't forget you still have a few days to enter this week's challenge which is called "For your friends".

Love you bunches

Hi there!!! I hope you've had a great week. I decided it was high time to make some healthy changes in my life and I'm getting my rear in gear. Last night was my first night in a "Learn to run for fitness" class.  Let me tell you, it wasn't easy... but I DID IT!!! It's the first Bellarific Friday sketch of the year and  this was a fun one. I decided to use the image called "Kissy" that I've had in my stash for quite some time.  She was colored with Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol. I then added some Diamond Stickles to her crown and some SU chalk pastel on her cheeks.

Next week's challenge is called "For my friends".  We want to see a card all about friendship.  I'm sure I'll be be pulling out one of my Uptown Girls and I have one in mind already.

Don't forget you have until next Thursday to email Emily your fabulous creation at emily@stampingbella.com to be included in the Friday post.

Bellarific Friday - Let's Hang Out

Hi rhere!!! Can you believe it is finally time for the first Bellarific Friday of the year? Yeah!!! I've missed seeing all of the fun creations. Our first challenge of the year was using a fabulous inspiration photo.

Told you it was fabulous!!!

I loved all of the lanterns hanging from the ceiling so I decided to use the fun stamp called "Limelight Hanging Block" on my card. I stamped the image with Arcihival Black ink and then colored with Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol.  I added some Yellow Stickles to the lights on the chandelier.  The sentiment is from the set called "Jane Girl". The layout for my card is last week's Deconstructed Sketch

Next week's challenge is a sketch. Check it out!!!

There are some changes to the challenges this year so check out the details at the Stamping Bella Blog

Let's get buzzy...

Oh my goodness.... I've had this card made since the weekend and I keep forgetting to post it. I got a great Stamping Bella haul in the mail last week so I decided to have a little fun with the current Sweet Sunday Sketch challenge. I bought some DP from my LSS shortly before Christmas (I think the line is called Rough and Tumble from Carta Bella) and thought it would be perfect to use it with the Buzzy Huggabugg which is currently on sale. The image was colored with Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol. I then added some Diamond Stickles to his wings.

Thanks for popping by!!! I'll be back on Friday with my Bellarific Friday post.

CAS You are so sweet

Hey there!!! My first card of the new year. My mojo took a break over the holidays right along with me and it's just come back... kinda!!!! I got a whack load of goodies from Stamping Bella earlier this week which inspired me again. I tell ya, it was a fun package to open!! I've had this idea in my mind for awhile to use the "You've been Framed" set and keeping the card CAS. I put everything onto my stamping block to make sure I liked how it fit on the paper before stamping. I"ve used a variety of Memento colours including: Bahama Blue, Bamboo Leaves, Dandelion, Angel pink and Lilac Posies.  I then used the sentiment from the set called "Uptown Girl Claudia has a candy".

Don't forget that it's the first Bellarific Friday challenge of the year coming up. It's a fabulous inspiration pic.

Make sure you get your card to Emily at emily@stampingbella.com by Thursday to be included in the Friday post!! You even have the chance to win some Bella bucks!!!
