Flower Power

Hi there!! Three days this week, can you believe it?? I know you're impressed. LOL!! It's Friday so we all know what that means, Bellarific Friday!!  This week, our challenge to you is called "Flower Power". We want to see flowers on your card. For my card, I went into flower overload with the image and the DP.  I've used the image called Flower Bottles, which has been a fave of mine that I've never inked up. Can you believe it? The DP is  from Basic Grey (a couple of different lines - Plumeria and What's up).

Next week's challenge is a sketch which I will upload shortly.

Don't forget to send a photo of your creation to Emily@stampingbella.com by Thursday night.  Then stop on by the blog to see the inspiration and leave a comment for a chance to win some Bella Bucks.

Shopping Time

Hi there!! I'm back for my second card of the week. LOL!! It's about time I started posting regularly again right? Lovetoshopabella is one of the stamps I got in the mail last week and I was itching to have some fun with her.  I stamped her in Archival Black ink and then colored portions of her with Prismacolor Pencils. Her jacket and the presents were paper pieced with MME DP. I then added some shadowing using pastel chalk pencils.  I love how the DP pops off the white background.  Hope you like it!!

See you Friday!!

She's a snow bunny!!

I had a bit of free time this morning (aka I'm procrastinating from getting things done around the house) so I decided to play along with the current Sweet Sunday Sketch challenge. I was trying to create the card from memory (in other words,  I didn't take my iPad into my craft room) so I changed up the placement of the fishtail banners.  For my card, I have used "Snowbunnybella" from Stamping Bella. I have loved this image forever but I only just recently got it. It's one of the fantastic stamps I got in the mail last week. Wahoo!! I love new stamps to play with.  LOL!!! I plan to play a bit more today with my stamps so you'll be seeing more from me this week :-)

Baby time

Hi there!!! Sorry I haven't been around lately. I've been working a lot lately and have been trying to enjoy the last bits of summer.  This week at Stamping Bella, we had a fantastic sketch to work with. I was waiting for some fantastic SB goodies to arrive but knew I had to get my card made. Of course, no sooner did I finish my card and I heard the package come through my mail slot. LOL!! For my card, I decided to use Babynurseabella that I hadn't inked up yet (even though I've had it for a few years). The image was inked up with Archival Black ink and then colored with Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol.  The DP is some older Pink Paislee called Indigo Bleu. Hope you like it!!!

Next week's challenge is called "Flower Power". We want to see your floral cards!!!

Don't forget to send a photo of your creation to Emily@stampingbella.com by Thursday night.  Then stop on by the blog to see the inspiration and leave a comment for a chance to win some Bella Bucks.

Twinkle Toes goes polka dots

I know, I know... I was bad this week!! No blogging for me. Eeks!!! And now I'm a day late for Bellarific Friday. This week, we challenged you to go for dots, polka dots!!! I had so much fun using the Echo Park Beautiful Life DP that has two fantastic polka dot prints in it.  For my card, I've used Twinkle Toes Huggabugg. This cutie pie has been stamped with Archival Black ink and then colored with Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol.  I then added some Diamond Stickles to her wings. The layout for my card is the current Deconstructed Sketch. I'm loving all the layers to it.

Ready to find out about next week's challenge? This time it's a sketch.

Pack your bags

Hi there!!! This week, we had a fun sketch to work with at Stamping Bella for Bellarific Friday

I decided to flip the sketch to make it vertical to add a bit of interest. Such a rebel!! For my card, I've used the Uptown Girl Sunny is Stylish and have colored her with Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol. I'm thinking I may need to pull out my lonely Tombow Markers sometime soon. Rather than having the circle elements on my card I decided to switch it up a bit and use the black flourishes instead. I must admit I love the look of it.

Next week our challenge is to use Polka Dots!  Another easy one.  Hope you can join us.  Just send a photo of your creation to Emily@stampingbella.com by Thursday to be included in the Friday lineup.  And stop by the Blog to see some inspiration for the rest of the Sistahs.  We have Bella Bucks up for grabs weekly for one lucky contributor and one commentor.

Please be my nothing

Hi there!! It's been another quiet week on my blog. I decided to enjoy the recent long weekend and not even go near my craft stuff so that I could enjoy time with family and friends. It was a much needed break.... I had a bit of free time yesterday before heading to work so I decided to make a card using the current Fall to Layout. I've had this flower in my stash for quite some time so I decided to use it finally. I can't keep hoarding my crafty stuff. I then paired it with a sentiment from the Stamping Bella set called Uptown Couple Emily and Ryan under the umbrella. I love how simply elegant the card is :-)

Thanks for popping by today!! I'll be back tomorrow with my Bellarific Friday card.

Frame it Bellarific Friday

Hi there!!! Wow, it feels like a busy week on my blog with Dare to Get dirty. But today, I'm here for my fave day of the week, Bellarific Friday!!! This week we had a fantastic inspiration pic to work with. I loved the colors in the pic but the frames really stood out for me.  The layout for my card this week is from the current Freshly Made Sketch challenge with my twist on it. For my card, I've used the image called
Pattie and Dottie Friends Forever. The image has been colored with Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol.

Next week's challenge is a sketch!!

I already have some ideas floating around in my head :-)

We'd love for you to participate with us so make sure you get your entries in to Emily by Thursday August 8th to be eligible for prizes!!
