Happy Easter

Eeks!!! I was so excited when I noticed on SCS last night that my buddy Lesley aka Lionsmane is this week's Featured Stamper. I decided I wanted to case this card from her gallery. Let me tell you that it wasn't easy to choose from Lesley's fantastic gallery. I love her clean and fresh style!!!

For my card, I decided to use the Stamping Bella image called "Cracked up Huggabugg". The image was stamped with Versafine Onyx Black ink, embossed with clear embossing powder and then watercolored with Tombow Markers. Diamond Stickles was added to the wings.  I've always loved Bella Blvd DP but wow!!!! I'm loving their new papers that they've recently released. I may have stocked up a bit!!! The things I changed from Lesley's original card were: image, colors, DP.

Thanks for popping by! Happy Easter!

Stella with a daisy

WOW!!! I'm so happy it's a long weekend!!! So happy that I almost forgot to post my Bellarific Friday card.  Oopsy daisy... How appropriate. LOL!!

This week, we were challenged with an inspiration pic that I am in love with.

Isn't it fantastic?  I decided to go with a more muted color palette to suit the inspiration.  This MME paper worked to a tee!! I have always loved the Stella line at Stamping Bella and I decided I had to ink up "Daisy with a Stella on top". Love it!! I pulled out my handy dandy Prismacolor Pencils and blended them with Gamsol.

Next week is a sketch challenge again :-)

Next week is Sketch week!  Email your cards to Em by Thursday to be included on Bloggabella and you could win some bella bucks!!!!

A little artsy house

If you're looking for my TSG sneak peek, please click here

As soon as this stamp arrived in my mailbox, I knew exactly what I wanted to do.  The stamp is called "Artsy House" from Stamping Bella.  I've always had fun making small scenes with stamps and DP and this stamp lends itself so well to it.  The DP is a mish mash of different brands.  For the rolling hills, I tore some DP and then inked the edges with Old Olive ink.  The sun and clouds dies are from MFT.  The image was stamped in Chocolate Chip ink and cut out.

Hope you like it!!

Her style is a touch on the side of gothic, but so much fun. We can’t wait to see what’s next with this AMAZING designer!!

TSG Sneak Peek - Lucky Duck and Hooked on Quack!!

If it walks like a duck, and talks like a duck…well, it’s probably a Lucky Duck!! Ok, that was corny, but this SUPER cute set by Torico will make you squee with delight…could it get any cuter? Lots of ducks, and stamps to build the perfect scene, it’s so versatile.

Eeks!!!! Isn't this duck way too cute?? Love it!!! For my card, I decided to use this week's TSG sketch challenge as my inspiration.  I am in love with the new Fancy Pants Design line called "Park Bench" which is perfect for this set.  The image has been colored with Prismacolor Pencils and blended with Gamsol.

Lucky Duck is a 4x8 set that includes a total of 24 stamps and will sell for $18.00.

While brainstorming the sentiments for Lucky Duck, as always, we took a turn for the dark side…..what else can I say besides this set is ducking awesome.

Bellarific Friday Cherry Blossoms...

Hi there!!! I had so much fun making this card for this week's sketch challenge at Stamping Bella. "Cherryblossom Bittybloom" is one of the first stamps I ever bought from Stamping Bella and it's currently on sale.  I wanted to make sure I used it one more time before it's gone forever.  Isn't she just the cutest?  Love her!!! For my card, I have stamped the image in Versafine Onyx Black, embossed with clear embossing powder and then watercolored with Tombow Markers.  As you can see, I made a slight booboo on my sketch. Oopsadaisy!! It happens...

Next weeks Bellariffic Fridays theme is an Inspiration Challenge - remember take whatever you want from the picture to inspire you card.  Email your card to Em by Thursday to be included in next weeks Bellariffic Fridays on Bloggabella

TSGA - Dream a new Dream

Hi there!!! Wow, it's been a crazy week!! Each month, the week before the new release, at TSG we celebrate some of our older sets.  One of the sets we are highlighting this month is "Dream a new Dream". I have had this set for quite some time and I'm glad that I am inking it up again.  Go me... LOL!!! For my card, I was inspired by this week's Freshly Made Sketch challenge. I stamped the sentiment in Versafine Onyx Black and embossed it with clear embossing powder. I then sponged the center of the circle image with Memento Dandelion and Canteloupe ink.  I love how it just pops and highlights the sentiment so well.

Thanks for popping by!! Make sure you check out the TSG blog to see what the girls have created.

May your pockets be heavy

Apparently, I've had a few brain farts lately.  I made this card for last week's TSG challenge and never posted.  Yup, I'm a nut!!! I made it for last week's "Green" challenge. It definitely has a St. Patrick's Day feel to it. For my card, I used the TSG set called "Blessings" that was stamped with Archival black ink.

For the boys

This week at Stamping Bella, it's all about the boys!! I'll admit, I don't often do "boy" cards but I knew that Arthur from the set called "Arthur and Annie" would be perfect. It's unfortunately sold out right now... Darn...  I stamped him in Versafine Onyx Black, embossed with clear embossing powder and then watercolored with Tombow Markers.  The layout is a recent "Retro Sketch" that I flipped on its' side.

Dancing in the Rain

I've had a quite few days on my blog. I'm not sure why though.... I've had cards made since late last week and I totally forgot to take pics of them. OOPS!!! I was in a CAS mood when I created this card.  For my card, I've used the Stamping Bella set called "Rain never stopped me a Bella" and used only the sentiment from the set.  The DP is from Bella Blvd that I've been hoarding. I cut the sun and clouds out using some of my MFT dienamics and both have been sponged with corresponding ink.  Easy peasy!!!

Thanks for popping by.

Surprise....

Surprise!! It's Bellarific Friday!  This week, we had a sketch challenge which typically is my favorite type of challenge :-)

For my card, I decided to make an A2 card instead of keeping it a square card.  The image I've used is called "I-can't-see-a-thing-a-Bella" which is currently on sale.  She was stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa ink and then colored with Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol.  I'm still getting the hand of Prismas, so don't judge me, K?  Thanks :-)

Get ready to play along with the next Stamping Bella challenge?
The theme for next week is "For the Boys."

Email Emily (emily@stampingbella.com ) with your entries by the end of Thursday,  March 15th  to see your work on next week's blog post AND be in with a chance of winning the prize for contributing ($20 Bella Bucks)!

TSG197 Wish Big

This week’s challenge at There She Goes is brought to you by our trendsetter of the week, Vera Yates. She has challenged us to make a card using only black cardstock for your layering.

For my card, I decided to use this week's Mojo Monday sketch challenge as my inspiration.  I'll admit, I fudged the sketch a little because I didn't want to make it look like the image from the TSG set "Tooth Fairy Approved"  was flying off the card.  The sentiment comes from the set called "Wrapped in Joy".

To be eligible for the giveaway, create a card or project using this week’s challenge (matting with black cardstock) and then come back to the TSG Blog to add your name and a link to your project in the InLinkz that is located at the bottom of this challenge post. This challenge is open until the winner has been announced on the following Monday (March 11th). The winner will get a $5 gift certificate to use in the TSG Web store!

By participating in this challengeyou may also find yourself in the Trendsetting Spotlight that shines on the TSG Blog every Thursday. We will be on the lookout to find challenge cards that stand out and show Trendsetting qualities. TSG stamps are not required to participate in the challenges but are appreciated :)

You do not need to have a blog to be able to participate in the TSG Challenges! You can simply add the URL link from your project after it has been uploaded to your online craft gallery. If you upload your card to an online craft gallery, please use the keyword TSG197 so we can check out your beautiful work!

There's so much to tell you so here it goes...  This week, the theme is all about adding banners to your card.  Banner, Check!! New image called "The Way You Move" - Check!!! As soon as I saw this image, I knew I wanted to create my own personal piece of art.  I haven't gotten into mixed media yet so I bought a frame at the dollar store.  The image has been colored with Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol.  I created a sky background using Soft Sky ink.  I used two different green DP's for the grass.  Are you in love with the new Dudas? I know I sure am!!!

A few notes:
