SFYTT Oops...

It's been a busy month so I haven't had much time to just play with my stamps.  Realizng that it's the end of September which means there will be a new SFYTT coming out soon, I knew I had to create a card for September.  I bought a bunch of stamps from The Cat's Pajamas in August and you guessed it, this one called "Deep Breath" is seeing ink for the first time. I stamped the image in Versafine Onyx Black and watercolored it with Tombow Markers.  Easy peasy.  The DP is an old pack from MME (I love non-traditonal winter colors so I had to have this DP).

See you soon!!

ISSC35 A frightful Halloween

Eeks!! September has just flown by and I'm still shocked that we're so far into this year.  It seems like 2012 only started.  I'm so glad Fall is finally here even with the warmer than usual weather we've been experiencing on the West Coast.  I guess I shouldn't complain right?

This week's iSpy sketch features Audrie Magno-Gordon (girlgeek101 @ SCS) and our sketch is based on this card.

I love the simplicity of this sketch so I went out of my norm and went for a clean and simple card and I love how it turned out.

For my card, I've used the TSG set called "Bugs and Hisses"  for the sentiment.  I also used a Memory Box Die for the spider.  Easy peasy right?

MFTWSC90 You are so polished

I had a bit of free time a few days ago and had received an MFT order (weeks ago) and I just had to play.  I made this card for the current MFT Sketch Challenge. I've used one of the newer a la Modes called "Polished to Perfection" that I've colored with a combination of Tombow Markers and Distress Markers.  I'm thinking it's a slight learning curve with the Distress Markers so I need to play with them a little more. I didn't intend to leave the circle part of the sketch off but it just wasn't working with the image I chose to use so I added the ribbon loops in its' place.

Thanks for dropping by today.

ISSC34 with Joanne Basile

Hi there!!! Thanks for hanging in with me while I adjust to my new schedule.  For my post today, I have combined my TSGA post with my iSpy post for this week. I'm so excited about this week's iSpy!!! We are featuring  Joanne Basile (basilefamily @ SCS).  Joanne is an amazing cardmaker and I can say I'm always in awe of her cards when I visit her blog.  Her work is amazing!!! This week's sketch is based on this card.

For my card today, I decided to do a mirror image of the sketch because it worked better with the sketch.

For my card, I have used the TSG set called "Wrapped in Joy" for the image and the set called "Make a Wish".  The image was watercolored with Tombow Markers.

Hope you like my card!!

Head on over to the TSG blog to check out all the inspiration and the iSpy blog to see what the DT has created with the sketch.

Don't forget to check out the TSG store :-)

Have a great day!!!

A dirty card...

I know what you're thinking... I dropped off the face of the earth. LOL!!! I'm back.  I've been trying to adjust to having my schedule totally adjusted. Working a couple of jobs at once doesn't leave much time for creativity.  In the last 15 days, I worked 14 of them.  Yikes!!!

With that being said, I haven't had much time to get crafty. Although I did get crafty for my last gallery as Dirty Dozen (the gallery goes live today).  I can't believe how quickly the last 6 months went.  They say it goes quickly, but I didn't realize how true that is.

I made this card for my first month as Dirty Dozen and the theme was "Let the Sunshine In".  The layout for this card was the sketch for the DD in April.  The stamp is called "Sunflower Bittybloom" from Stamping Bella.  The sentiment is from the TSG set called "Buckets of Love".

I'll be posting on a more regular basis soon. Thanks for hanging in there!!!

Ready to get started???

Today’s challenge is brought to us by our blast from the past NEW trendsetter, Danielle!!! She has challenged us to make a card or project using a banner of any kind you wish, with a birthday theme of COURSE!! It can be a handmade banner, a patterned paper with a banner on it, an image of a banner…the skies the limit!!

As soon as I saw the layout for the current Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge, I knew it would fit perfectly with this banner challenge :-).  Yeah!!! For my card, I've used the TSG set called "Wrapped in Joy" which is perfect for the birthday theme.  I watercolored the image with Tombow Markers.  The banners were created using the TSG die called "World's Best".

Remember to come back and add your creation to the Inklinkz for TSGBC04!!

Here are the rules: For the daily challenge prizes of $15, you can use stamps from any company you chose, but we would LOVE to see you using your There She Goes stamps!! However, to be eligible to win the Grand Prize of $75, all you entries much use There She Goes stamps only!

You will have until 8pmEST Friday, September 14th to finish this challenge, and the winner will be announced on Saturday, September 15th at 12amEST!! That gives you over a week to get finished!! If you happen to finish them all, and we hope that you do, you can add your name to the Inlinkz being posted on Saturday, September 8th to be entered to win the GRAND PRIZE!!!!
